1950 Foden FG 4/7.5t
Milk tanker with a lovely Gardner 4LW engine and a Foden 4 speed gear box.
Have her full history from first registration on the 28th April 1950 when she was registered to Cheshire Transport Co. Ltd. This is thought to be the only original milk tanker of its type in preservation.
Since being purchased in 2009, she has benefited from;
· an Engine rebuild including; piston rings, injectors, timing chain, heads skimmed, and front engine mount replaced. Otherwise all other mechanical parts are thought to be original
· Rebuilt sections of the cab and applied its current blue and red livery (colours of the current owner’s family fleet!) Sign writing is transfers so easy to remove.
· Lined the internals of the cab with ash
· Retyred with radials (but if the new owner wants the tubed wheels, I still have them!)
· Renovated & repainted the outer cover of the tank
She is pretty much ready to show !!

Sleeper cab, Long wheelbase beavertail with substantial hydraulic ramps in very good shape with only 185,000 km. Known history from first registration to Wolseley Plumb Centre when it operated with a demountable body right through to 2007/8 when she became a beaver tail (@ a cost of £18k). Only used to carry a vintage commercial forthe last 9 years. Good tyres all around (75%). Quality winch. Minor superficial damage to near side door but an easy repair or can use the spare door that will be supplied in the sale. ‘Enhanced’ front end with Foden Alpha grill to match the payload. A couple of minor rust spots but otherwise in very good, unmolested and un-abused state. Ideal for classic or vintage transportation and is currently registered as Private HGV so cheap to tax.

Gardner 120 6x4 rigid
Only done 5k miles from build. The lorry was new to BP and has not been worked commercially since being decommisioned a number of years ago when it was returned to the UK from its life in France.
This Foden would make a fantastic restoration. Considering its time parked up the lorry is in fair condition.
